The JPII baseball team made history this past season in more ways than one. After winning their area back in 2021, they've made the playoffs in three consecutive years culminating in a Final Four run this season. The Falcons were led by a seasoned group of upperclassmen while getting strong production from many of their underclassmen as they beat Oneonta in the Round of 32, Brooks in the Sweet Sixteen, and Priceville in the Elite Eight. Although they lost in the Final Four round to eventual State Champion, Etowah, their historical run will never be forgotten and they solidified themselves as one of the premier baseball programs in north Alabama.
